Pattie Brooks
Pattie Brooks is an American singer most frequently associated with the disco era. Her solo career started in 1977 with the release of her first album for Casablanca Records and Filmworks called Love Shook. Her second album produced her biggest hit "After Dark" which was featured in the movie Thank God it's Friday starring Donna Summer. The album also produced two other huge dance hits for Pattie "This is the House Where Love Died" and "Come Fly With Me / Let's Do it Again".
Pattie recorded two more albums for Casablanca and one for Mirage Records in 1983. That same year, she was featured on the soundtrack for the film Doctor Detroit with the club hit “Get It on And Have A Party". She also recorded two duets with its star Dan Aykroyd.
In 1985 Brooks released "Lifeline Dancing" which was featured in the movie That Was Then... This Is Now.
In 1987 she released “All Talk", and in 1988 "Function at the Junction".
In the early 2000's, she returned to the studio with her recordings "All About the Music" and the cover "I Like the Way You Move".
In 2014, Pattie teamed up with Anthony Piazza from TP and Company and recorded the hit "Lies", which she co-wrote with Piazza and most recently "Need Love".
