Nick Hogan
Nick Hogan is an American Actor, DJ and Music Producer with two music monikers which span over a decade. He has appeared on various TV shows and as a music producer, has released music on popular record labels such as: 40Oz Cult, Boom Recordings, Listen Deep and WaterShip Records among others. Hogan comes from a family of entertainers. His father “Hulk Hogan” is the #1 Sports Entertainer of all time and his sister; Brooke is a musician and actress. Following his family in the entertainment business, Nick has two music monikers which show two different sides of him.
“Nick Hogan” – The TV/Radio Personality produces House/Top 40 music projects with feel good electronic dance music and party rock style mixes at live shows and his alias “Jakpot” – produces a much darker and heavier side of music with Dubstep / Bass projects showcasing harder and more aggressive releases, remixes and live shows.
Hogan, graduated the Icon Music Collective in Los Angeles in 2012 with EDM titans Kayzo, MakJ and Protohype in his graduating class. He was taught music production by Steve Duda (member of BSOD with Deadmau5 and creator of Xfer Records, Serum). During his time at Icon, he also took an internship with Poet of The Black-Eyed Peas, writing and engineering to help hone his craft. After graduating, he later took a job at DASH Radio in Hollywood, California as Head of Electronic Music and Program Director for the channel ElectroCity.
Although production is a driving force in Hogan’s musical passion, his love for turntablism burns just as bright. Having first laid eyes on turntables around 16 years of age, he immediately fell in love and dove in around 18 years old, immersing himself in scratch videos, tutorials and hours upon hours of practice mixing and scratching. He started dj’ing nightclubs in 2008 and has continued to tour the world ever since. He has headlined some of the best venues in the world such as: Liv (Miami), Avalon (Los Angeles), as well as Private events in Europe. He has performed with and supported the likes of: Kaskade, Carnage, The Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Riot Ten, and many others. The showmanship and crowd interaction at Hogan’s live shows displays a level of fun and an experience the crowd never forgets!
