Singer, Songwriter Blaise “Biagio” Benevenga has been touring the Northeastern part of the United States as well as Siracusa, Rome, Naples, Venice, Italy. Along with his Italian/American band; The Vibrations, Biagio has performed alongside Sandro Giacobbe, Michele Zarrillo, Mauro Nardi and Angelo Venuto. Having released a successful 22 tracks CD with The Vibrations titled “Festival Italiano”, they recorded many classic Italian songs such as “Calabrisella Mia”, “Luna Mezz’o Mare” and “Tarantella”. All with a modern sound which are fan favorites at many Italian festivals, casino and night club events.
In 2017, Biagio worked with international producer/remixer Giuseppe D. (who has remixed the likes of Gloria Estefan & Whitney Houston) to release his first solo album “Biagio – The Italian Touch”. The album features many hits such as “C’e La Luna”, “Guilty”, “Eh, Cumpari!” and the 1981 World Wide Top 40 Smash “Shaddap You Face”. “I love to remix & perform songs that I know will make people sing and dance at my live shows. I’m keeping up with the times and added different flavors to these songs while respecting the authenticity that have made them Classic Anthems” says Biagio.
While just in the beginning phase of promoting his album, Biagio is already getting support from many radio stations mix show jocks from around the country. He is also becoming a festival, casino and nightclub favorite as he has recently signed with the boutique Management & Consultancy agency; Nene Musik Productions, Llc. and is set to tour in support of his solo album “Biagio – The Italian Touch”. Biagio is available for solo track performances as well as with his band The Vibrations.
