Barbara “Barbie” Blank was born January 15th in Jacksonville, FL. At the young age of only three, her parents put her into gymnastics where they soon discovered what a natural athlete she was. She continued in gymnastics until she was thirteen where she felt a need for a new challenge which she found in competitive cheer-leading and continued to do all through high school. Right after she graduated, Barbie was introduced to the world of modeling.
From 2005-2006, right out of high school, Barbie was already a well established bikini model being named a Hawaiian Tropics and Venus Swimwear model and printed in several catalogs and magazines nationwide including the cover of Maxim twice. A representative from the WWE happened to come across her photos in one of the swimwear catalogs and was drawn to Barbie right away. They immediately reached out to recruit her into the WWE family where she soon became the youngest, at age nineteen, and one of today’s most legendary and recognized WWE Divas known as “Kelly Kelly.”
After winning several wrestling championships, Barbie retired from the WWE after a 9 year run to pursue other dreams and goals such as television and film. In 2015, Barbie made her reality TV debut in the hit series WAGS: LA on the E! network. Currently in its third season, Barbie is also pursuing acting and has recently been seen guest appearing on the popular soap opera “Days Of Our Lives” where she played a waitress. Barbie is also exploring producing and as well as scripted television and film. She currently has
a few features in development that she hopes to announce in the coming months. Barbie’s fans mean the world to her and she still very actively supports them and attends Comic-Con signings nationwide throughout the year. Keep a look out for her, you may just see her pop in for some surprise appearances!
